He’s lived in Northland all his life, understands the community and its culture, and firmly believes private business owners hold the key to local and regional success. A highly experienced businessperson, Warwick sold his award-winning company Waste Works Ltd in 2009, moving on to a variety of senior leadership roles with Northland businesses and NZ organisations. He is acknowledged as a talented, innovative business leader with many awards to his name. Warwick is determined to help Northland’s businesses succeed. He said:

Outside work, Warwick’s passion for sports will see you find him playing golf, watching rugby and speedway. Warwick’s achievements include finalist in the Ernst and Young Entrepreneur of the year, winner of the Westpac Northland Business Excellence Award for Excellence in Technology / Innovation, and Runner up of the Westpac Northland Business Excellence Award for Excellence in Service. 3-time gold winner of the Northland Regional Competition for Excellence in Service and innovation.
