Schooled here, built a business here, sold it, and then — instead of heading off to sip drinks somewhere warm — chose to stay and help other Northland business owners do what he’d already done. Some call that loyalty. Others call it stubbornness. Either way, Northland’s better for it.
After selling his award-winning company Waste Works Ltd in 2009, Warwick moved through senior leadership roles across the region and nationally — and picked up a hard truth along the way: too many good business owners are making big decisions alone, and it’s costing them.
That’s what brought him to The Alternative Board. Because the best thinking rarely happens in isolation — it happens when sharp, straight-talking business owners sit in a room together and get brutally honest about what’s working and what isn’t.
