Wayne brings over 30 years of senior leadership and business ownership experience to The Alternative Board, with a career that has touched manufacturing, engineering, infrastructure, IT and telecommunications across New Zealand and internationally.

His background includes serving as chairman of one of New Zealand’s fastest growing ICT companies and sitting on the board of a dynamic start-up — giving him a rare combination of governance insight and hands-on management experience.

Wayne believes the right answer is never far away when you have the right people around you. “Business is all about the people. When you find what their passion and drive really is, and can truly connect them with that, then the magic begins.” It’s this genuine enthusiasm for helping talented people achieve their goals that has defined Wayne’s career — and continues to drive his work with TAB members in Otago and Southland.
