Proposed cancellation, refund and dispute terms — for approval, not final

Registration and service: One member place for The Human Edge 2027 on 5 March 2027 at Grand Millennium Auckland.

Receipt and registration email: After successful card payment is verified server-side, the attendee will receive by email an invoice and a payment receipt and registration confirmation with the event dates/venue, amount and registration reference.

Cancellation requests: Send a written request to Enquiries@TheAlternativeBoard.co.nz. The request takes effect when received.

Refunds: A full refund of the conference fee is available when a written cancellation is received by 11:59pm NZDT on 3 February 2027 (30 calendar days before the Member conference day on 5 March 2027). Cancellations received after that deadline, no-shows and unused/partially attended sessions are non-refundable, except where required by applicable New Zealand law. Approved refunds will be returned to the original payment method within 10 business days. These terms apply to the conference fee only; accommodation is booked separately with the hotel and is subject to its own terms.

Cancellation or postponement by the organiser: If the conference is cancelled, the conference fee will be refunded in full. If it is postponed, an attendee who cannot attend the rescheduled date may choose a transfer or a full refund by notifying TAB NZ within 10 business days of the postponement notice. Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days after the choice is confirmed.

Dispute resolution: Contact TAB NZ at Enquiries@TheAlternativeBoard.co.nz or 0800 822 929, giving the registration/payment reference, a description of the issue and the outcome requested. TAB NZ will acknowledge the complaint within 5 business days and aim to provide an outcome or update within 10 business days. If unresolved, the attendee may request an internal review by TAB NZ management through the same contact details. Nothing in this draft limits rights available under applicable New Zealand law.
