PETER MAYALL

Peter is passionate about helping Waikato businesses do well. His background in many facets of senior company management and finance provides him with the skills and experience to assist local businesses. Peter remains an owner of a small Waikato business, so has first-hand experience of some of the critical issues facing other local business owners. Using his strong analytical skills, Peter enjoys building rapport with people wanting more out of their businesses and has sourced great solutions to issues faced by those businesses.

With a Waikato-based working career spanning three decades, Peter has a diverse range of employment and business ownership experiences including roles with multinationals such as Fonterra and company start-ups like Access NZ and Naxos Consulting. He also worked for ten years as a Financial Controller with a natural textile company based at Waikato Innovation Park.

Educated and raised in the Waikato, Peter is a full member of the Chartered Accountants Australia + New Zealand(CAANZ), and holds a Bachelor of Management Studies with a double major in Accounting and Finance, and Marketing from the University of Waikato, where he also studied International Management.

Peter’s varied business background combined with The Alternative Board’s proven success model is a valuable resource for Waikato businesses wanting to succeed.
